Mamre Brook Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine
Saltram Mamre Brook Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon is made with fruit from the north-eastern side of the Barossa Valley. It is named after the family home built by winery founder William Salter at Angaston in 1844.
The fruit is crushed, destemmed and fermented on skins for up to 10 days, developing intense colours and fine tannins. Post ferment the wine matures in new and seasoned French oak. It is then bottle aged for six months prior to release.
Deep cherry red, Saltram Mamre Brook Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon has plush dark berry flavours with fine tannins, subtle oak and long length. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
